BACKGROUND
 

Actuate, in collaboration with Sub-Saharan Visa product team developed a training pilot aimed at bankers in the African market. 
 
The objective of the training pilot was to test a short face-to-face training intervention aimed at Barclays Africa bankers and managers. 
 
Two methods were tested. Firstly a 4-hour Train-the-Trainer session aimed at area managers, branch managers and some bankers. Secondly, a 2-hour delegates training session, delivered by the recently trained trainers. Actuate subject matter experts observed the sessions from a quality control and consistency perspective.
